AMORE'S STATEMENT ON CONCLUSION OF GALVIN'S PROBE

"Secretary Galvin's attempt to sweep this matter under the rug indicates he just doesn't understand the extent to which he has abused the public trust. This problem won't be fixed by changing the computer system, it requires a complete change of leadership, which I'm ready to provide. Clearly, this entire episode shows that Secretary Galvin is more committed to self-service than public service"

May 22, 2018

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Boston -- After appointing a subordinate in the Securities Division to conduct an internal review of his office, Secretary Galvin has announced his internal probe is finished. It is being reported that he will install a new timesheet system to more closely monitor his employees. The conclusion of the internal investigation comes just one day after his Republican opponent, Anthony Amore, called upon the Ethics Commission and Inspector General to formally investigate the abuses of state resources and employees by the Secretary.
