Help Anthony Amore take a stand against noncitizen voting

I think you'll agree with me that citizenship and the rights that come with it are fundamental to our core values as Americans.  But across our Commonwealth, liberal activists are attempting to give noncitizens the right to vote!  If they succeed, they will undermine the strength of our Republic.

Dear Fellow Citizen,

Do you believe that voting is an exclusive right and privilege for U. S. citizens?

I know I do.

I think you'll agree with me that citizenship and the rights that come with it are fundamental to our core values as Americans.  But across our Commonwealth, liberal activists are attempting to give noncitizens the right to vote!  If they succeed, they will undermine the strength of our Republic.

Now, we have an opportunity to stand up for the rights of citizens. I’m spearheading an effort to send a message that citizenship matters.  Please join our cause by asking your Town Meeting or City Council to pass a resolution affirming that voting in our elections is the exclusive right of American citizens.

My campaign for Secretary of State can provide you with language for the resolution and the steps needed to bring it to your Town Meeting or City Council. Already, voters across Massachusetts are asking for local action on this resolution:

"To see if the Town will vote to reaffirm that voting in municipal, state and federal elections is the exclusive right and privilege of United States citizens, and further, the town urges noncitizens who desire to participate in our municipal, state and federal elections to seek and obtain U.S. citizenship."

Together, we can make it known that Massachusetts feels strongly that voting is the precious right of citizenship, and the best way for noncitizens to participate in our democracy is by obtaining citizenship.

Please act quickly as deadlines for Fall Town Meetings are quickly approaching. Act now by contacting Joshua Burgin from my office at joshua@amore2018.com or 617-453-8445.

Respectfully,

Anthony Amore
Republican Nominee
Secretary of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
